I lead the Gemini Vision Encoder team; I have been a core part of the Gemini pre-training team since its inception, predominately pushing vision encoders, but generally working on all things multimodal/scaling related. My research background is computer vision, representation learning and dynamic sparse models, alongside threads relating to medical imaging and learning under label noise.

In my spare time, I sing, dance (mostly hip hop), learn the piano/music theory, do random art things (painting, tufting, whatever), hike and cycle and generally goof off with people I love.
